Race Concept

The objective is to navigate the course as fast as possible. The team that completes all checkpoints in numerical order the fastest wins.

If a team cannot finish the full course within the 100-hour time limit, it may stop collecting checkpoints in numerical order and, on the way to the finish, collect checkpoints it has not yet visited. These bonus checkpoints may be collected in any order.

Results

If no team manages to complete the entire course within the time limit, the winner will be the team that has collected the most checkpoints in numerical order by the deadline.

If multiple teams have collected the same number of checkpoints in numerical order, ranking is decided by the number of bonus checkpoints collected.

If multiple teams have collected the same number of checkpoints in order and bonus checkpoints, the finishing time decides the ranking.

A team’s finishing time and checkpoint total may be affected by penalties for lateness or rule violations.

The race is completed without mechanical or motorised assistance. An electric pump is permitted.

On water, teams use one or more packrafts or other paddle- or oar-powered craft that can also be carried over land. All team members must be on the water at the same time.

Teams travel together for the entire race and carry all gear they need with them.
