1. Why did you decide to register to this race?
Unsupported format of Kairacross is the real deal. Juha had so much fun last year that he had to come back. Eero was told there is gonna be snacks.
2. What kind of trip you expect Kairacross Vätsäri to be?
Horrible terrain and impossible navigation masterminded by the Evil Route Planner. Also snacks.
3. Tell something about your team. What does the name stand for?
Juha is the Kairacross winner from last year, experienced adventure racer since 2004. Eero represents the next generation of adventure, slowly gaining on his faters abilities.
Overall we both enjoy an expediction in the wilderness, equally on land and water. We think moderate suffering just adds to the experience.

4. What is the longest paddling/packrafting trip you have made? What was it like?
Both have done paddling trips lasting several days. For Juha Kairacross 2021 was the longest alongside other adventure race paddling. Eero has explored the ancient waterway between Hämeenlinna and Tampere adding up to 100 km in lenght.
5. What’s your goal in Kairacross Vätsäri?
We are looking for completing the race with minimal amount of mistakes. Solid orienteerin and consistent speed. In other words, fater and son quality time as we undersrand it.
