the idea of the race

The aim is to navigate the course as fast as possible, visiting the control points in their numerical order. The finish line must be reached within 100 hours.

Teams travel the course using muscle power only. A packraft or some other human powered watercraft is obligatory when moving on the water.

The whole team travels together at all times and carries all the equipment needed by themselves.

The fastest team to visit all the control points and to cross the finish line wins.

  • If no team is able to finish the whole course in the 100 hour time period, the team that finds the most control points wins.

  • If several teams find the same amount of controls, the first of them to cross the finish line wins.

  • The team’s final result can be affected by time penalties imposed to the team for being late or breaking the rules.
